Returning to the Office - The New Normal

Returning to the Office - The New Normal

We are making plans to return to the office by redefining our workplace to ensure our health and wellbeing. This entails monitoring the number of people in the office on any given day, social distancing, following all CDC cleaning guidelines, and recreating a place that is as safe as it is creative.

After spending the last few months working from home apart from our friends and colleagues, many of us are asking ourselves, “what will it be like returning to the office?”  Our daily routines, including our 10am and 2pm coffee walks to the corner shop will have to be rethought and our full office breakfast meetings, BBQ lunches, and 3pm ice cream taste-test challenges will be postponed or greatly reduced in number of attendees. While necessary right now, this is still a big change in our “normal” work life and will require time to refamiliarize ourselves as we adjust. We are embracing the challenges brought forth and exploring the limitless possibilities this “rethink” is allowing us in our personal lives, our work lives, and our clients’ lives.

As we embrace our “new normal,” we are all looking forward to reuniting with our colleagues and returning to our habitual work/ life balance. Take a glimpse as to what we are looking forward to the most when we return - from having design workshops in-person again, to a sunset view from our NYC studio, to watching the leaves of the Ginkgo tree in the garden of our LA studio burst into color, these are some of our favorite moments from the past.
